Will Karnasiewicz

051208 brian jon will in Riggs library_2Will Karnasiewicz has cultivated his growing passion for wine with an open-mind and a desire to travel anywhere in search of good food and good wine.  Since sneaking a ’96 Barolo back from Italy for his dad as a 14 year-old, he’s yearned to learn more and more about the world of wines.

While pursuing his Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Georgetown University, Will spent his vacations exploring some of the world’s great wine regions, including Portugal’s Douro valley (which went by in a blur of Port and fado), France’s Bordeaux, and New Zealand’s Marlborough (where he couldn’t get enough of the golf or the Pinot Noir).

Will is currently working with GiraMondo Wine Associates as a summer intern, before heading off to Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis in August.

Look for his reviews of wines from the Missouri AVAs (Augusta, Hermann and the Ozark Mountains) in the fall!
